KC Midnite Fantasy

KC Midnite Fantasy– My wife  Joni and Midnite successfully competed in many endurance races throughout Montana, Wyoming and Idaho.  His great grandsire El Mokhtar was one of three black Arabian stallions used to portray the Black in the “Return of the Black Stallion.”  The director loved his huge, expressive eyes, so he appears in several close-up shots. More important to the film was how El Mokhtar could run; he is the Black in the cross-country race.  (“El Mokhtar,” n.d., para. 2)  Midnite is now semi retired and looking like a toasted marshmallow.
